But for me, it started by accident, the best kind. I didn’t set out to be in the beauty industry, but once I found it, I realized it was always in me. I’ve always been a creative at heart, the challenge was finding the right medium to express it.

What started as a curiosity became a craft and then a calling. I’ve learned that you don’t have to be just one thing. Creativity spills over. You braid hair, then you direct shoots. You style looks, then you build brands. That’s what Raia Labs is a reflection of everything I’ve been exploring: textured hair artistry, storytelling, visual direction, and the culture that connects it all.
